Every Thanksgiving the Annual
Christmas in the Valley Festival begins- This Missouri
Ozarks Christmas Festival will even charm and delight the "grinches"
among you. Join us for an old fashioned Christmas celebration
throughout the Christmas season.
From the Christmas Parade to Santa's arrival, our region becomes
a winter wonderland. Many come just to kick off their Christmas
Shopping for the season. Dozens of our antique,
collectible and gift shops are impressively decorated
and open for your shopping pleasure! Go from store
to store to find that special gift or treasure!
Reenactment
of the Battle of Pilot Knob - Every third year a
full-scale re-enactment of the Battle of Pilot Knob is staged,
attracting tens of thousands of spectators to the Valley.
Be sure to make your plans now to attend the next two re-enactments
scheduled during the Civil War Sesquicentennial
(150th Anniversary) in Missouri; they are: September 25-26,
